CONDITIONS OF HIRE FOR THE SALISBURY CLUB HALL

 

Deposit paid within 7 days of receiving the booking.

Full payment is needed 14 days before the date booked.

Deposit is forfeit if the booking is cancelled less than 14 days notice.

 

Premises to be left clean and tidy

 

The deposit will be returned within 7 days of the date of the function, provided that no damage has occurred and the premises is left clean and tidy.  The Hirer will be responsible for payment of any damage etc. in excess of the deposit.


Items must not be fixed to the walls or woodwork with blue tack, white tack, sellotape, packing tape etc.  Pins or nails are not to be used.


Confetti and Glitter must not be used in the building

 

The Hirer must take all precautions against the outbreak of fire. Highly flammable materials etc. are not allowed on the club premises.

 

Property taken onto the club premises is done so entirely at the owners risk.

 

The Hirer is responsible for the safety of their guests whilst on the club premises,

e.g. Fire exits should remain clear at all times.

 

The club accepts no responsibility for any injury to any guest while on the club premises.

 

The Hirers guests must leave the premises in a quiet and orderly fashion.

 

It is illegal to smoke anywhere within the building. A smoking area is provided at the rear of the main club building.

The Salisbury Club operates a zero tolerance drugs policy.  Any one found using or supplying illegal substances will be asked to leave and reported to the police.

No glasses or bottles are to be taken off the premises.

Only drinks purchased on the premises may be consumed on the premises with out express permission

All persons must vacate the premises no later than 30 minutes after the end of the booking.

 

IMPORTANT: Hirers should take note of the fact that spillages can be extremely dangerous. Consequently, Hirers should ensure that spillages are avoided as much as possible. Spillages should be reported to a member of staff immediately after it occurs or is noticed by the Hirer or any guest present in the hall.

 

Cheques to cover the cost of hire of the hall should be made payable to:

The Salisbury Club and be received by the date indicated on the application form. Bookings are not confirmed until complete payment is received.

 

IT MAY BE NESSASSARY TO PROVIDE A DOORMAN FOR YOUR EVENT. 

 

IT IS THE HIRERS RESPONSIBLITY TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE CORRECT LICENCES IF REQUIRED.

Only drinks purchased from the bar are to be consumed on the premises.

 

THE REAR EXIT DOORS MUST BE KEPT CLOSED AT ALL TIMES AND ONLY OPENED IN AN EMERGENCY.

 

THE CLUB CAR-PARK IS FOR THE USE OF CLUB MEMBERS ONLY AND MUST NOT BE USED BY PEOPLE ATTENDING A FUNCTION IN THE HALL.
